Press Release
March 14, 2005 – AndroScience Corporation’s abstract on the use of its novel Androgen Receptor Degradation (ARD) Enhancer in Acne and Alopecia has been accepted by the American Academy of Dermatology Association Meeting on July 20-24, 2005 in Chicago. This represents a new class of drugs (ARD Enhancers) and the activity of these compounds in preclinical animal models will be reported for the first time. Using ARD-Enhancer as drug represents a potential breakthrough in the topical treatment of acne and alopecia since these compounds work on the cause of the disease rather than treating the symptoms, and any side effects should be reduced.
