AndroScience Corporation’s abstract entitled “Androgen Receptor Degradation (ARD) Enhancer: A Potential Application for Topical Treatment of Acne Vulgaris” has been accepted for presentation (selected for Poster Exhibit and Poster Discussion Sessions) at the 64th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology to be held on March 3 - 7, 2006 in San Francisco.

The ARD Enhancers are a group of small molecules discovered by AndroScience, that express activity in regulating androgen-induced activities in various animal models.  Using ARD-Enhancers as topical drugs to treat acne represents a potential breakthrough in the treatment of acne vulgaris, and will be the first of its kind as a topical drug that targets on the cause rather than the symptoms of the disease.
