June 2007 – Financing

AndroScience has completed a $6.4 million private-equity financing. The company’s latest round of financing was led by President Life Sciences Co., Ltd., joined by Eminent Venture Capital and other private investors. The proceeds will be used to complete ongoing Phase I and II clinical trials in acne indication; to file a new IND for alopecia indication; and to continue development of a third indication for prostate cancer.




May 2007 - Clinical Trials in Humans with Acne Vulgaris

AndroScience Corporation (ASC), a San Diego based biotech company,
is developing ASC-J9 as a topical agent for the treatment of acne. Two Phase I Human Clinical Trials were recently completed, one in healthy volunteers and another in patients with acne. ASC plans to begin a Phase II Human Clinical Trial in Q3 of 2007 to evaluate the safety and efficacy of its topical cream for Acne.
